Ticket Panels

Panels are the embed messages posted in your Discord server that users click to open tickets.

What is a Panel?

A ticket panel is a Discord embed message with buttons — one for each support category. When a user clicks a button, a new ticket thread is created for them.

You can customize the embed title, description, color, footer text, thumbnail image, and which categories appear as buttons.

Creating a Panel

1

Click New Panel

On the Panels page, click the New Panel button in the top right. The panel editor opens with default values.

2

Configure the Embed

Set the panel's appearance:

  • Title — the heading shown in the embed
  • Description — instructions for users (supports line breaks)
  • Embed Color — the colored bar on the left side of the embed
  • Footer Text — small text at the bottom
  • Thumbnail URL — optional image in the top right
3

Add Categories

Each category becomes a button on the panel. Click Add Category and enter a name, emoji, and description.

Click a category to expand it and configure advanced options:

  • Opening Message — sent when a ticket opens in this category
  • Intake Form — up to 5 questions shown in a popup before the ticket opens
4

Configure Intake Forms (Optional)

Intake forms appear as a Discord modal popup when a user clicks the category button. Each question has:

  • Label — the question text
  • Style — short text (single line) or paragraph (multi-line)
  • Placeholder — hint text shown in the empty field
  • Required — whether the field must be filled
  • Min/Max Length — character limits
Discord limits modals to 5 text inputs. This is a Discord API limitation, not a bot restriction.

Preview & Post

The live preview on the right shows exactly how your panel will look in Discord. When you're happy with it:

  • Save Draft — saves without posting to Discord
  • Post to Discord — saves and sends the panel to the selected channel

Managing Panels

Existing panels are listed below the editor. You can:

  • Edit — modify and re-post the panel
  • Delete — remove the panel (the Discord message is not deleted)

Each panel shows its status (Draft or Posted), channel, category count, and creation date.

Per-Panel Settings

Each panel has its own settings that override the guild-level defaults. These are configured in the panel editor:

  • Log Channel — override the guild log channel for this panel's tickets
  • Close Message — custom message shown when tickets from this panel are closed
  • Auto-Close Days — automatically close inactive tickets after this many days (premium)
  • Delete on Close — delete the ticket thread instead of archiving it when closed (premium)
  • DM Transcript on Close — send the ticket creator a link to their ticket transcript when the ticket is closed (premium)
  • Spam Cooldown — minimum seconds between ticket creation per user for this panel (premium)
  • Reminder Interval — send a reminder to the log channel for unanswered tickets after this many minutes (premium)

Multiple Panels

You can create multiple panels for different purposes — for example, one for general support and another for billing in a separate channel. Each panel can have its own log channel, close message, and auto-close settings.
