Getting Started

Get Tixie running in your Discord server in just a few minutes.

Prerequisites

You need Manage Server permission in the Discord server where you want to add the bot.
1

Add the Bot to Your Server

Click the "Add to Server" button on the homepage or use the invite link provided by your administrator.

When prompted, select your server and authorize the requested permissions. The bot needs permissions to manage threads, send messages, embed links, and view channels.

2

Create a Ticket Panel

Open the web dashboard and click Manage on your server. The setup wizard will guide you through choosing a template, customizing your panel, and posting it to a Discord channel.

You can pick from pre-built templates (General Support, Gaming, Business) or start from scratch. Each category becomes a button on the ticket panel.

3

Configure Categories

Head to the web dashboard to customize your support categories. Each category becomes a button on the ticket panel.

You can set the emoji, name, description, assigned staff roles, and an optional intake form that users fill out before their ticket opens.

4

Customize Settings

Visit the Ticket Settings page to configure:

  • Ticket and log channel IDs
  • Welcome and close messages
  • Premium features like auto-close, cooldowns, and webhooks
5

Test It Out

Go to the channel where you posted the panel and click one of the category buttons. A private thread will be created just for you and the assigned staff.

Try closing the ticket with /close or the close button. Check the log channel to verify everything is working.
