Canned Responses
Pre-written message templates that staff can send in tickets with a single command.
What Are Canned Responses?
Canned responses are saved message templates that staff can quickly send in ticket threads using the /reply command. They're useful for common answers, greetings, or instructions that staff send frequently.
Creating a Response
On the Canned Responses dashboard page:
- Enter a Name — this is the shortcode staff type to find the response (e.g., "greeting", "refund-policy")
- Enter the Content — the full message text that will be sent
- Click Create
Names must be unique within your server. Use short, descriptive names that are easy to remember and type.
Using in Discord
In any ticket thread, type /reply and start typing the response name. Discord will show autocomplete suggestions matching your input.
Select a response and press Enter. The bot sends the full response content as a message in the ticket.
Managing Responses
From the dashboard you can:
- Copy — copy the response content to your clipboard
- Delete — permanently remove the response
To edit a response, delete the existing one and create a new one with the updated content.
