Classes & Stats
Classes define your playstyle, and stats determine how powerful you are. Choose a class, allocate stat points as you level up, and unlock abilities and skill trees for deeper customization.
Base Stats
Every character has four base stats. These stats affect everything from how hard you hit to how much damage you can survive.
| Stat | What It Does |
|---|---|
STR (Strength) | Increases physical damage. A Warrior with 20 STR deals significantly more melee damage than a Mage with 5 STR. |
INT (Intelligence) | Increases magical damage. Spellcasters and healers rely on INT for their abilities. |
AGI (Agility) | Increases critical hit chance and dodge chance. Agile characters land crits more often and avoid attacks entirely. |
VIT (Vitality) | Increases maximum HP. Tanks invest heavily in VIT to absorb more damage before going down. |
Stat Allocation
Every time you gain a class level, you earn stat points (default 3 per level, configurable by admins). You can spend these points on any combination of STR, INT, AGI, and VIT using the /rpg stats command.
Your total stats come from three sources: allocated points, class bonuses (which scale with your class level), and equipment bonuses from your gear.
Stat Tiers
Admins choose one of three stat complexity levels from the RPG Settings page. This controls how deep the stat system goes for your server:
Simple
- Flat stat values only
- No derived stats
- No skill trees
- Great for casual servers
Moderate
- Derived stats from base stats
- Max HP, crit rate, dodge
- Physical & magical damage
- Good balance of depth
Deep
- Everything in Moderate
- Skill trees per class
- Unlockable skill nodes
- For RPG-focused servers
Derived Stats
On Moderate and Deep stat tiers, your base stats feed into derived stats that determine combat performance:
| Derived Stat | Based On | How It Works |
|---|---|---|
| Max HP | VIT | 100 + VIT × 10. More VIT means more health to survive longer fights. |
| Physical Damage | STR | STR × 2.5. The base damage for melee attacks and physical abilities. |
| Magic Damage | INT | INT × 2.5. The base damage for spells and magical abilities. |
| Crit Rate | AGI | AGI × 0.5%, capped at 50%. Crits deal double damage. |
| Dodge Chance | AGI | AGI × 0.3%, capped at 30%. Dodging avoids all damage from an attack. |
Classes
Each class provides stat bonuses that scale with your class level. For example, a Warrior might get +2 STR and +1 VIT per class level, while a Mage gets +3 INT. These bonuses are added on top of your manually allocated stat points.
You can freely switch between classes, but there is a cooldown between switches (default 24 hours). Switching does not reset your progress — each class remembers its own level and XP, so you can return to a previous class and pick up right where you left off.
Default Classes
Warrior
High STR and VIT. A frontline fighter that deals heavy physical damage and can absorb hits. Great for players who like direct combat.
Mage
High INT. A spellcaster that deals devastating magical damage but has lower survivability. Best for players who want to hit hard.
Rogue
High AGI. A fast fighter with high crit rate and dodge chance. Relies on landing critical hits and avoiding damage entirely.
Healer
High INT and VIT. Uses magical power for restorative abilities. More durable than a Mage with healing capabilities.
Custom Classes
Skill Trees (Deep Tier)
When the stat tier is set to Deep, each class gets a skill tree — a branching set of nodes that unlock passive bonuses and abilities as you invest points.
Skill nodes have prerequisites, so you need to unlock earlier nodes before reaching the more powerful ones deeper in the tree. Each node costs skill points, which you earn alongside regular stat points as you level up.
Nodes can grant flat stat bonuses, percentage increases, new abilities, or passive effects like “10% chance to counterattack when hit.”
Ability Loadouts
Each character has 4 ability slots. Abilities are unlocked through your class level or skill tree, and you choose which ones to equip in your loadout.
Abilities have damage multipliers, cooldowns, and special effects (like applying burn or stunning the target). Your loadout determines which abilities are used during auto-combat. See the Combat & Abilities page for more on how abilities work in battle.
